Christmas Day

We headed to Colt's mom's Christmas morning around 9. They just live across town so it makes it nice. Since Davallen was in El Paso this Christmas it made Christmas morning a lot different this year. There wasn't near as big of a rush to open presents this year! It was just the two of us, Dede, David, Blake and Victoria. Dede and David cooked breakfast for everyone, and we went next door to see Dennis and Molly before they left to go spend the day with Dennis' family.

We got David a knife for Christmas and Colt wrapped it himself. I think it took him about an hour to wrap it. The top layer was an old cast from a casting clinic he did. Then underneath were layers of wrapping paper, tape and I think even wire.
All to get to this little box
They got Colt a GoPro that he has since played with and loves

and I got a Pandora charm bracelet!

At around lunch we went home and grabbed our dogs, and then we just hung out on the couch and watched movies the rest of the day. We watched a movie called Human Race. It was awful...one of the worse movies I've ever seen. Our free options were limited. Then we found Playing For Keeps on Netflix and it was a really cute movie! We had a nice relaxing Christmas Day!

Christmas Morning with the Dogs

We got up Christmas morning and let the dogs have their stockings before heading to Colt's family to spend the day.

Christmas Eve

We went to my parents on the 23rd to stay the night and spend Christmas Eve with my family. When we got there on the 23rd, we went with my parents over to the ranch and had dinner with the Fisk family. Joe and Nadine had to work Christmas Eve day so my mom kept Lily and Logan for them. Colt and I woke up to the sound of them in the living room. Let's just say they don't have a quiet voice. I ended up doing a couple Christmas crafts with both of them during the day to keep them occupied.  Heath, Jenn and Tenison came over early that morning and spent the day hanging out while Heath cooked his ribs and a brisket for Christmas Eve dinner that night. Joe, Nadine, Jacob and Haley all got there later that night, and after dinner, the kids got to open presents. We were supposed to quit exchanging gifts among the adults this year. Of course that didn't really work out. That just meant that my dad ended up giving all of us money and all that really happened was that my parents didn't get presents.

Here are a few Pre-Christmas pics from Christmas Eve day
Lily- I curled and fixed her hair that day and had to touch it up per her request right before her dad got there so he could see it too.

My young nephews and niece playing... My oldest nephew, Jacob, is now 20!
It was cold in the garage and Tenison had a runny nose so Colt put Logan's big jacket on him and also some kneepads
Dad... he gripes that we sleep late when all he does is get up and go right back to sleep!
Colt and I
It's hard to get an almost two year old to pose for a pic, especially when he's not feeling good. Although he was all about posing in Joe's family pic when it was time for that.  I thought some of theirs were cute so I included a couple of the outtakes.
Of course my dad wanted their baby, Pistol, in their pic.
