Mother's Day 2018

This was my first Mother's Day as a mom of two. Being a mom is definitely the hardest and most exhausting job I've ever done. It's also the best though. My absolute favorite thing is being with them day in and day out, and I'm very thankful that I get to. I am definitely blessed to be a mom. On Mother's Day, Colt got off at 2am and then went back to work at 5pm that night so the majority of the day, it was just me and the kids. We went on a Target trip and had Whataburger, Kinley's favorite, for dinner. Kinley also cried that day because she didn't get a card. I told her it was Mommy's Day... she responded with, "No, Kinley's Day!"

I asked Kinley a few questions that day to see what her responses would be:

• What is Mommy's name? Mommy/Mom
• How old is Mommy? 2
• Where does Mommy work? Gym
• What makes Mommy laugh? Laugh at baby brother
• What does Mommy like to do for fun? Trains, play house with Kinley
• What is your favorite thing that Mommy cooks? Cheese, chocolate sandwich (peanut butter and Nutella), bacon and strawberries. 
• What do you and Mommy like to do together? ABCs
• Why do you love Mommy? Love mommy and brother

Kinley made me both of these "surprises" for Mother's Day.

Muffins with Mom

We had Muffins with Mom at Kinley's school on May 10th. Kinley was excited for me to be at her school eating muffins with her. She also loves muffins. We sat by Molly and Lucy. Both little brothers, Cutler and Walker, were there too.

Mother's Day 2017

I was super thankful this past Mother's Day, and everyday, for our little girl that is full of personality. I was also thankful for my mom that spent her Mother's Day weekend helping me keep up with Kinley and have a garage sale before our move.

A lot of the time, I think that Kinley resembles Colt, especially when she was a newbown. In these particular pictures, I think she looks a lot like me though!

Colt wasn't home when this came in the mail. I opened it by accident so he wasn't able to surprise me on Mother's Day. He got a puzzle made out of a picture of me and Kinley. Kinley loved it then. Now she REALLY loves it since she's gotten even better at puzzles. It was a great gift that we play with often!

To celebrate Mother's Day, we took Kinley to play at the park.

It's hard to believe that in just a few months, we'll have a baby boy added to our little family that I'm already thankful for!

Mother's Day 2016 and Lucky's 9th Birthday

Mother's Day was on May 8th. It was my first Mother's Day since having Kinley so I was extra thankful for her and that she gave me the best job ever and made me a Mommy! 

Of course, we're also thankful for both of our moms too! 

Colt's mom sent him to get me a rose bush and whiskey barrel as a Mother's Day gift this year. 

On Mother's Day,  Lucky celebrate his 9th birthday too. I can't believe it's been that long since Colt gave him to me in a tiny little gift sack and made me his fur Mommy!
