Gerald and Allison's Wedding - June 4th, 2016

Gerald and Allison's wedding was on Saturday, June 4th. It was in Waxahachie at a venue called Hidden Waters. Colt drove down that morning since he was in the wedding party. Kinley and I drove down later that day in time for the wedding. Their wedding was beautiful! They've been together a little longer than Colt and I so their wedding was a long time coming, and I'm so happy for them and their little family. Their little girl, Hensley, was the flower girl and she definitely stole the show by coming down the aisle in her little wagon!

Unfortunately it took me longer to get out the door than expected so Kinley and I didn't get there until right before the wedding started.  We didn't really get to see Colt until he walked down the aisle.

Papa is good at keeping Kinley entertained.

Gerald's godfather, Jeff, had a little photo booth setup. I even grabbed the camera and made him take a picture with his wife PJ. Jeff passed away at the end of August. It's hard to believe that this was the last time that we will see Jeff.

We got Kinley on the dance floor and she partied hard until right before the newlyweds were getting ready to leave. Then her and I went home so she could sleep. Her friend, Hensley, fell asleep right after the wedding and didn't hang around for any of the reception. If I would've thought ahead, I would've brought our pack-n-play and put her to sleep in the room with Hensley.

Colt's Truck

Since Colt will probably be getting rid of this truck soon and he had a ton of pictures of it on his phone.. I guess I'll post a few. He did some work on it in May. That I know of, he added fender flares to it and added some lights to the front. He may have even done more than that... but that's all I could tell! I do know that he did the fender flares himself because I had to run outside and help hold it while he drilled. 

Josh came over and helped him with the lights. The little light hat that his mom got him for Christmas came in handy I guess!

He has already ordered his new truck that should be ready sometime after the first of the year. He's getting a Ford Raptor, and he's pretty excited about it. This is the truck that we had to go to the car show in Dallas to see and that I see him constantly reading or watching videos about on his phone!

We had Kinley's 1 year pictures this day. We were wondering why she wasn't her smiley self. Not  too long after pictures were over, she started running fever and stayed sick a few days. We even took her to the doctor later in the week.  This was earlier that day when she was running in her Nike's. Too bad her pictures weren't that morning... maybe she would've felt better.

Trapped in the pack-n-play... we hardly ever used this thing with her. It's actually now her timeout area.

Week 50: May 21st-27th

May 21st

Colt made a quick trip to Athens for Gerald's bachelor party. He had to work until late that Friday so he got up super early and drove down on Saturday for the day. 

Meanwhile, I was at home picking up after this munchkin as she got into everything!

May 22nd

That Sunday, we also had Robb and Alicia's going away party over at the Parker's to say goodbye to them before they moved to New Zealand. 

Kinley ended up taking a cat nap on one of their bedroom floors. 

May 24th

We went and bought Kinley a swimming pool! It was part of her birthday present from us. She was a fan even without water in it. 

Colt ended up putting it inside the fire pit so that it wouldn't mess up another area of grass in the backyard... plus it fit perfectly. 

May 26th

And here's a video that I probably should delete. She wasn't quite walking yet, and I caught her busting it. Poor thing... she hit head first. 

Week 49: May 14th-20th

Once I get to her 1st birthday, I'm going to stop with the week by week and just post pictures by the month... so only a few more weeks left! 

Week 49, I actually started back to CrossFit full time. I wish I would've went back a lot sooner because I feel so much better when I'm working out. I blame it on the fact that she didn't start sleeping well until around this time. My first day back was May 16th, and it was Kinley's first time in the childcare room at the gym. She used to cry for a minute when I would leave her, but now she runs in the playroom and loves playing with the other kids. 

My 31st birthday was on the 17th. I celebrated with Kinley taking me to lunch at Jason's Deli while Colt was at work. 

My parents came down on the 18th and stayed the night. For some reason I didn't get any pictures while they were here for their visit. On their way out of town on the 19th, we ate at On the Border in Waco, and we took them out to our land out in China Springs to let them look at it. Of course looking at the land with them was a bad idea because they were both super negative about it... it just made us (especially Colt) irritated! 

May 14th

May 15th

While Daddy was playing soccer at Lion's Park, we went for a stroll and went and played at the playground.

We were in the knock the baby monitor down when we woke up stage!
