Remainder March in Photos

The rest of our month March in photos and videos...almost 7 more months to go to catch up on here!

March 1st

She got on a kick at the gym where she wanted to pick flowers every day. We would stay and walk around for a while after I got done working out. 

March 4th

Kinley and I went to Forney because I helped host Nicci's baby shower for Dylan'Rae.

March 7th

She loved and still loves playing ball with Daddy. He has better skills than Mommy.

and swinging. I miss having that swing! We don't have big enough trees at our house here in Tyler so until we get our patio add-on, we haven't been able to use it!

March 8th

Everything was a balance beam.

March 10th

March 11th

We went to a little girl's birthday party from the gym in Salado that day. Kinley ended up falling and getting a battle wound on her face. I also lost my car keys in Target that day on the way to the party. Luckily, someone had turned them in!

March 14th

She was on a Finding Dory kick. We had to watch it every single night before bed. The beginning was her favorite. No matter how many times we watched it, every time it would come on, she would get the biggest smile on her face.

March 15th

Evidently a grocery trip after the gym was just too much for her. She couldn't hang. 

March 16th

Playing with her Easter eggs... she was good at sorting them by color. We played with these eggs so much both year 1 and year 2. 

March 18th

Colt was off that day so we took Kinley to Whistle Stop Park, a park that we didn't usually go to. Here's a video of her hanging on the rings, which was one of her favorite things to do while we were at the park. She had a pretty good grip.

March 30th

It was Doctor's Day. A new cookie company had opened up so I had cookies delivered to my favorite doctor before he went into work.

March 31st

It was Dede's birthday so we went to Forney to visit and go with everyone to dinner. At dinner it was mainly family, plus Denean and their friends Angie and Mark from Houston.

Heston's 2nd Birthday Party

Heston's 2nd birthday party was on March 25th.  Colt was working that weekend and couldn't go with us, but Kinley and I went to the party and stayed with my parents. Before the party on Saturday, my parents went with me to Tyler to walk through our house so I could look at it again, take some pictures and videos and measure some things. Our huge mirror in our master bathroom was broken when we got there. I should have seen it as a sign because we have had more issues with this house...more on that later! 

Kinley had a blast playing and keeping up with all of her cousins at Heston's party. She also had fun staying at Giggy and Pa's house that weekend. 

She was into saying "I love you" around this time and would tell her Daddy all the time. Here's a little video of her telling my parents bye and us trying to coax her to say it when we headed  home.

March Gymnastics

Here are some pictures and videos of Kinley doing gymnastics during the month of March. Watching these makes me want to get her back in gymnastics again. I think I mentioned before that gymnastics at this age was hit or miss about every other class. 

March 21st 

Finishing up on the balance beam

A little combined video of her doing a flip, jumping on the trampoline and going to get her sucker on the balance beam at the end of class. At the end of the video she also gives her teacher a kiss when she reaches the end.

March 28th

As her shirt said, she was definitely fast and fierce that night. She spent a lot of the class being in trouble.

Around this time, she was definitely using her gymnastics skills everywhere. She was hanging on everything... closet bars, towel holders in the bathroom, the rings at CrossFit in the morning... you name it, she was hanging from it. She was also doing flips everywhere, even if it was flipping into things! 

Remainder February in Photos

Well... I thought I was doing pretty good on playing catchup. Then Kinley knocked my laptop off a chair the other day! When I would try to turn it on, the screen was just black. However, I played with it when Colt was out of town for work and figured out that if I plugged it into another monitor, it would work. When I got that to work, I immediately started trying to back up everything on my computer just in case. That took me forever! Now my pictures are everywhere completely unorganized, and I'm not sure if I got everything or not! After getting a quote from a Mac repair store in town for a new screen, Colt decided he would order a new screen himself off of Amazon and attempt to fix it himself first. It came in earlier this week, and thankfully he was able to figure out how to fix it. He's pretty resourceful! It was MUCH cheaper than it would've cost to get it repaired or get a new computer!

February 1st

February 4th

A little Super Bowl pregame... We had to support Uncle Blake's team Super Bowl weekend. He bought and mailed her two Falcons outfits when they made it to the Super Bowl. We wore won that Saturday and the other Super Bowl Sunday. She would've much rather been wearing a Cowboys outfit though.

February 5th

February 9th

We went to Tyler to look at houses. My parents met us at Cracker Barrel in Lindale to get Kinley so that she didn't have to tag along while we were looking at houses. It was the first time that she ever stayed the night with Giggy and Papa!

February 10th

My mom sent me this picture while we were on Day 2 of looking at houses. She had bought it for her for Valentine's and dressed her in it when she kept her! 

My parents met us later that day in Lindale so we could grab Kinley and get back on the road. Colt's mom and David had went with us house hunting. On our way to meet my parents, we stopped at the store. Grandma and Papa spotted this and got it for Kinley for Valentines' Day. They weren't sure if Colt would approve since it was so big. He did so she got it.

February 11th

 Lucky liked Kinley's bear that she got for Valentine's as much as she did. I would catch him laying on it all the time.

February 13th

We drove to Dallas and straight back for Alicia Dies baby shower that day. Kinley was a trooper spending the day in the car.

We showed our house in Temple that day. We had also scheduled to get the carpet cleaned that same day. The couple that looked at the house that morning came back for a second look at the house right after the carpet cleaning. All our furniture was in the middle of the living room. Luckily, it sold anyways though. It sold to the one and only couple that looked at it. I'm glad that it did too because even just those few times of getting out of the house to show it was a hassle with a little one. Our house wasn't even officially listed and the realtor hadn't even came to take their pictures yet so we were happy.

February 27th

More fun at the park in our old neighborhood. I liked being able to just walk to the park.

Valentine's Day 2017

Kinley was ready to give her Daddy his Valentine on Valentine's Day.
