Remainder July in Photos

Here are a few more pictures and videos from our month back in July.

July 3rd
Colt was working a moonlighting shift in Llano so Kinley and I put on our swimsuits and went swimming in her pool in the backyard! She is definitely a water baby.
I sent this video to Colt of her splashing and playing in the pool. I don't think it was on this swimming trip but she quickly learned that her favorite thing to do in her pool was slide.
July 5th
Kinley and I had lunch with Whitney that day. Then we spent the rest of the day playing.
This video is of her laughing at me. I LOVE her laughs.

July 8th
Running into things on the 4-wheeler that Giggy and Papa got her.
July 9th
We were getting ready to leave for vacation so we went to Forney and stayed with them before our flight out. Side note... Kinley didn't sleep in the pack-n-play while we were in Forney, and it almost made us want to cancel our vacation! I'm glad we didn't!

Grandma and her friend got this little dress for Kinley while they were in Aruba.
This is Kinley doing her crawl/walk since we weren't quite walking yet before vacation.

July 10th
Daddy holding Kinley and I
That night we went to Tokyo Harbor for dinner. Grandma thought Kinley would like watching the hibachi.
July 17th
We got home from vacation this day. She immediately went and sat in her chair, kicked back and it looked like she was looking at all her toys! She literally went and touched every single toy. She also had to show off her walking skills for the first time in our house.
Here's the video of her walking around.
Video of her playing with her toys... I swear she got even more smart while we were on vacation.
July 20th
At the time, Colt was still on schedule to work at Providence in Waco after residency so he had an orientation that day. I went and dropped him off at the hospital and then went to meet Whitney and Katie over at Magnolia Market. Of course, Kinley fell asleep as soon as I pulled up so I sat in the car for a while and let her sleep. Then I met up with them at the bakery. About the time I got out of the car, Colt called and was already done with orientation so I went to the Foundry across the street with them real quick before heading to pick him up. That night, since we were already in Waco, Colt's family drove and met us at Chuy's for dinner. His whole family ended up coming including Nicci, Davallen, Blake, Victoria, Tooter and Linda. Since the whole family was there, I got some pics after dinner.

Her cousin Davallen
Blake and Victoria... at the time Kinley was still too little for Blake to hold her.

On her 4-wheeler yet again
A video of the beginning of her dancing skills...
another video of her relaxing on the couch...
and another of her walking in her Nike's.
That night the group that Colt was planning on working for, ESP, had a bowling event that we went to.

July 22nd
Kinley likes to feed the dogs and me. Here's a video of her feeding me.
July 23rd
I helped host a wedding shower for Anna. I guess I am pretty short?! It almost looks like we lined up from tallest to shortest. Later that night, Kinley and I went to dinner at Meg's with more ladies - Tina, Brianna and Katie.
July 25th
I got an icee while we were at Target and she stole it.

July 26th
Kissing her baby (my old baby... I told you my mom saved everything)
Blake and Victoria came for a visit, and we went to dinner out at the lake at Deadfish Grill.

They got her some personalized Sperry shoes that they brought with them. A tattoo artist was at the Northpark store one day while Blake was working so he had to buy Kinley some. If you know Blake, you know he is a shoe guy. We wore these shoes like crazy and she just now outgrew them.

Trip to Giggy and Papa's in July

The last weekend of July, Colt was moonlighting in Llano. Since he was either going to be working or home sleeping the majority of the weekend, I decided to make a trip to my parent's house for the weekend with Kinley. On the way there, we made a stop at Target in Rockwall for a break. We ate a Target hot dog in the car, and she stretched her legs by climbing around the car.
Of course, every kid that goes to my parent's house has to play in the rocking chair that was my mom's when she was a baby.
We got to my parent's on Friday. Heath and Jenn brought the boys over on Saturday for a visit. I tried to get a picture of Kinley, Tenison and Heston all together, but they move too fast. Kinley tried to keep up with the boys though!

On Sunday, Mom and I took Kinley up to Joe and Nadine's on the golf cart for a quick visit.
All the kids wanted to go for a ride so I drove them down to the house and back. This is Rocky's little boy - Braxton, Lily, Logan and Kinley with Giggy. It looks like my mom is choking Kinley because she was trying to make her look at the camera!
Jacob also brought over Cohen that afternoon to see us.
This is before Kinley was really in the kissing phase but Cohen was giving her kisses.
Cohen looks a lot like Jacob did when he was a baby. It still seems crazy to me that my nephew is old enough to have a baby!
The two of them played outside for a long time.
They rode around in my old crazy coupe. This car is just 29 or 30 years old! My mom saves EVERYTHING! She still has my old Barbie house, kitchen (along with all my dishes and food),  picnic table, baby dolls, etc. You name it, she has it and she has started to give me some of it already for Kinley.

Kinley definitely had the dominant personality out of these two. You can probably tell that from the picture... considering she kinda pushed him to the back so she could drive. Cohen is super passive and could've cared less.
It was a fun weekend at Giggy and Papa's, and I'm glad we got to get all the babies together. I'm hoping that once we live in Tyler, we get to do this type of thing more often.

7 Year Anniversary

We flew in from Florida on July 17th, and Colt and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary the next day, July 18th. That night Josh and Brianna volunteered to keep Kinley while we went to dinner at Pignetti's. Since dinner didn't take long, we went all crazy and even went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and then to Target to get us some new towels!

My how our lives have changed since we first started dating!
These are my dead flowers that I got for our anniversary! Poor Colt told me Happy Anniversary early. Evidently he had bought me flowers early too. When I laughed at him for getting the date wrong, he didn't tell me about or give me the flowers. Instead, he left them wherever he was hiding them. By the time it was our actual anniversary and I got them, they were dead!
There is no one else I would rather do life with and grow old with! In my opinion, we made a pretty cute baby too!

Florida Vacation - July 16th

Day 6 was our last full day in Florida because the next day we got up and headed straight to the airport to fly out. We decided to go to the outlet malls for a bit that day. I'm not sure what we were thinking. It was crowded, and I don't think we even bought anything. I quickly realized that there's a reason we do most of our shopping online. When we got back, we went to the beach since it was our last opportunity before we left. Kinley still wasn't feeling great, and I had a touch of what she had too.  Her not feeling great didn't slow her from making a ton of trips up and down the sand from the tent to the water.
By the time Colt videoed her, she was already wore out and her legs didn't have much left. Both of these videos are of her attempting her trips but mainly falling down... and also trying to eat a little sand too.
That night for dinner is when James' grandma cooked us some of the snapper that they caught and brought it down to us for dinner. Since we were sickos and his grandpa wasn't feeling too great, they didn't eat with us.

I had bought Kinley an outfit and me a matching shirt with plans of getting family pictures in our outfits while we were there. I should've taken them right when we got there, but unfortunately I didn't, and with her getting sick we waited until the last night. By the time we got outside to take them that last night, it was already too dark so they didn't really turn out. Neither Colt or Kinley were really in the picture taking mood. Even though the lighting was bad, you can still tell that she was a cutie in her bright little outfit.
She was more interested in getting as close to the water as she could.
Even with me trying to lighten them up as much as possible, this is about as good as our family pics would get!
This was up in the room afterwards. She was sitting in the rocking chair where me and her spent quite a bit of time.

That's a wrap on the vacation. It was a great one! Taking her now that she's older would be even more fun to watch... although I would definitely have my work cut out for me chasing her around!
