Board Certified

In June 2018, hubby found out he was officially board certified and that he'd passed both his oral and written boards! 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, 3 years of residency and 1 year of work... along with several moves and two kids later!

Remainder June

June 2nd
A sweet video of him giggling when he was still young enough that I could contain him.
June 10th
This could be one of the reasons why she likes to go grocery shopping... ice cream while shopping! Her favorite color at the time was yellow.
June 15th
We were back in our own house and Kinley was helping me make blueberry muffins.
Cutler fell asleep during tummy time I guess!
Remember when we all had hand, foot, and mouth in April? Kinley was still losing her poor toenails in June!
June 17th
Just a video of Kinley playing with her "school" stuff. We did a lot of this while I was nursing and holding Cutler. You can hear Cutler grunting in the background.

Kinley thought she had to help him figure it out!
His first taste of food... sweet potatoes... he was a fan and ate the whole jar!
June 22nd
More muffin making... this time I had a little help from both of them.
This was around the time he started getting more interactive and it started getting more and more fun to see them together. One minute, she was holding his hand or sharing her show. The next, he would be crying and she's would be telling me that she hurt him.
So sweet...holding hands at night, night time while sister watches her show.

Lots of dressing up and lots of tea parties
Daddy taking pictures of little man's eyes... he's happy both his kids have blue eyes.

The Hulk was worn out!

Kinley was on a Frozen kick. I would catch her in the backseat of the car singing and moving her arms like Elsa.
The same night, evidently she opened my eyelid and said, "do you wanna build a snowman?"

Trying to stay cool.
Just a tiny glimpse into some of the things Kinley says.

Red, White and Blue - June 2018

The many faces of Kinley and Cutler in their red, white and blue.
Why does he look as big as her?!
A little video of what it sounds like when I'm trying to get their pic!

Splash Kingdom - June 2018

I guess we were all about soaking up the summertime fun during June! We drove to Canton and went to Splash Kingdom for Toddler Tuesday on June 26th. On Tuesdays during the summer, they open the park early for toddlers only.

Kinley was the wild child going down all the slides head first and loving every minute! Cutler tagged along and sported his cute swimsuit for the first time!
Here's a video of Kinley having fun on the slides. I forgot how much fun she had! We definitely need to try and take her again this summer.

Water Balloons - June 2018

I love these pics and we had a cute video, so I figured they deserved a post of their own. She looked so grown up in these pics to me!

June 24th, we had some water balloon fun. She loved and still loves water balloons!
The video of our water balloon fun... she even tried to get the neighbor, Chase. Oh my goodness, how I miss her little voice from this video! It's changed so much in a year!

Father's Day 2018

Since we had to push Kinley's birthday party back a week, Father's Day was the day after her birthday party. She was so proud and excited to surprise her Daddy on Father's Day with the card she made. Her favorite color at the time was yellow so she wanted yellow paper. She also really wanted to write and paint in yellow too, but I made her pick another color. She wouldn't let me help with the paint or the stickers. She was also excited earlier in the week when I picked her up at school because she made him a card there and a little coke bottle with blue glitter and ocean animals in it.
Father's Day morning she woke her Daddy up by saying, "Daddy, I have Father's Day card for you!"
She loves her Daddy and he definitely loves his girl. Cutler was still a little bit of a Mama's boy at the time.
Colt had to work 2-11pm that day so not too long after lunch, he was off to work for the day.
For fun, I asked Kinley some questions about her Daddy for Father's Day:

What's Daddy's favorite thing to do? Play together, play my ABC's
What do you like to do with Daddy? Play my animal game
What's Daddy's favorite color? Blue, Daddy like Blue
What do you like to do with Daddy outside? Water flowers
What does Daddy like to call you? Big girl. He doesn't like to call you Sweet Pea? No
What's his favorite food? Chicken
What's his favorite dessert? Mommy... haha
Where does Daddy work? His truck. What does he do? Work out. What's his job? Is he a teacher? No he's a doctor.
