Leaving CrossFit Sprag

My last day at CrossFit Sprag was May 18th. They announced that it was a partner workout again that day. When the workout was announced, one of the girls messaged me that if one of us died during the workout, they felt like I would have to stick around!  This is Jules and I after our actual last workout together! Jules is definitely a super mom and has two genius little boys.
Megan brought donuts for everyone on our last morning at Sprag. While I did my final workout, Kinley had donuts to celebrate her last day at the gym! I think she got the better end of the deal! It was her first time to ever taste sprinkled donuts.
It made it so much more fun to workout when working out with the same group of women everyday and then hanging out and playing with our babies afterwards!

My 32nd Birthday

On my birthday, Kinley and I started our day at the gym. My last day at CrossFit Sprag before our move was going to be the next day, May 18th. When they announced the May 17th workout as a partner workout, Jules and I assumed that we wouldn't have two partner workouts in a row and that it would be our last partner workout to do together before I moved. Her and I had started teaming up, and it was always assumed that we were going to be partners. After our workout, a few of the Sprag moms went to Chick-fil-a for lunch and a playdate. I miss all the Sprag moms that I worked out with in the mornings and their little ones!
I had a hair appointment later that day at 5. Colt kept Kinley while I was getting my hair done. When I got home from my appointment, surprisingly Matt and Whitney's car was there. Colt had cooked steak and all the sides by himself for dinner (while taking care of Kinley I'll add), and he had invited Matt, Whitney and Alicia over to surprise me for my birthday dinner! Whitney also brought Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert. It was a nice little surprise. These girls are another reason that I miss Temple. They are two of the first people that I met when I moved there, and they became some of the best friends. We started out with no babies. As you can tell from this picture, all of our lives have definitely changed since we met! Since this picture was taken, Whitney and I are actually both working on Baby #2!

Mother's Day 2017

I was super thankful this past Mother's Day, and everyday, for our little girl that is full of personality. I was also thankful for my mom that spent her Mother's Day weekend helping me keep up with Kinley and have a garage sale before our move.
A lot of the time, I think that Kinley resembles Colt, especially when she was a newbown. In these particular pictures, I think she looks a lot like me though!
Colt wasn't home when this came in the mail. I opened it by accident so he wasn't able to surprise me on Mother's Day. He got a puzzle made out of a picture of me and Kinley. Kinley loved it then. Now she REALLY loves it since she's gotten even better at puzzles. It was a great gift that we play with often!
To celebrate Mother's Day, we took Kinley to play at the park.
It's hard to believe that in just a few months, we'll have a baby boy added to our little family that I'm already thankful for!

Lucky is 10 Years Old

On May 8th, our first baby, Lucky, turned 10 years old! It seems crazy that he is 10. I'm not sure how that happened!?!

This was him on his birthday. I think he was waiting on me to give him his birthday present.
Here he is on the night Colt gave him to me in a gift sack as a tiny baby.
Colt was only 19 when he gave Lucky to me. We were all babies!
Him and Alex may not get to be the center of attention since Kinley came along, but he's pretty special!

Kinley and Mommy

We didn't think that we got any good pictures of me and Kinley when we had our photo session so Colt snapped a few of the two of us later that day in our front yard. Love this little girl!

Family and Kinley 2 Year Pictures - May 2017

We had pictures with Nolan Creek Photography on May 6th. Kinley was a month away from turning 2. We had to fit updated pictures in before our move to Tyler. We had our shoot in the morning, and we had to wake Kinley up to get there in time. Most of the shoot, she was more interested in playing with a stick and what the photographers little girl was doing. She wasn't smiley at first, but she came around as she woke up! We definitely captured some good ones of her at 2!

This one is my FAVORITE of her, but they are all pretty cute!
These two are my FAVORITES of the three of us!
I love all of these of Kinley and Colt.
When she got too busy playing...
...we got some pics of just the two of us!
We did a short little outfit change and got a few more pics. By that time, we were pretty much done though!
I love how they turned out, and I'm glad we captured some of her fun, little personality at this age.
