4 months old

Kinley turned 4 months old back on October 12th (almost 8 months ago). 

She had her well check on the 13th. At her appointment, her stats were: 

13 lbs. 12 oz. (40th%) 2 ft. .06 in. or about 25 inches (56th%) 40.5 cm. head (47th%). 

She had to get her vaccines at her checkup. Poor thing had to get 5 vaccines. Since they combined a couple, she had to get 3 sticks. Of course, she wasn't a happy camper and ran a little bit of fever afterward, but her little Barbie band aids were pretty dang cute. 

At her appointment, I asked about a little bump that she's always had on her ear. Dr. Drigalla said it was just where her cartilage had grew out a little bit but that it was nothing to worry about. Before her appointment, she had been pretty fussy and was drooling and chewing on everything. It made me think that she was starting to teeth, but the doctor said that she wasn't quite teething yet. Right after this appointment is when we started seeing blood in her stool and were trying to get to the bottom of what was causing it. We initially thought it might've been a reaction to the vaccines and then went the allergy route. I posted more about that in this post from a while back.

At 4 months, we were wearing Size 2 diapers still. A lot of her 0-3 month clothes were starting to get too little but some fit, depending on the brand. Her 3-6 months tops and onesies were a little too big but she was definitely wearing 3-6 month pants. 

She started to roll over from tummy to back just a few days after she turned 4 months old. Just a few days after that, she figured out how to roll from her back to her tummy too. She was cooing and smiling even more. She really liked it when Daddy would get home from work and was always all smiles for him. She went through a little period where she didn't want to eat on the left side it seemed like. She would throw a fit until I moved her to the right side, and then she would eat like no big deal. At first, I thought she wanted the bottle to make it easier on her, but that wasn't the case. It seemed like switching sides satisfied her.
