On December 27th, we headed back to Forney. We were going to visit with Gerald and Allison at Colt's mom's house before we headed back to Temple. While we were waiting for them to get there, Colt went to the Ford dealership in Mesquite because they had some Ford Raptors in stock. He had been looking and reading about this truck FOREVER. He had pre-ordered one as soon as he could from a dealership in Wichita Falls where he could get the best deal, but it hadn't came in yet. When Colt went to the dealership in Mesquite, evidently a guy was there buying a white one and was pretty rude to Colt. Colt looked at his truck and told the guy that he had ordered one. Just being curious, he went ahead and asked the guy how much he had paid for his truck. The guy quoted a price that was way more than Colt had paid. Then he went on to say that Colt might could get a better deal on one if he would dress and look nicer. I think Colt had workout clothes on...pretty much what he wears everyday when he isn't wearing scrubs. Of course, Colt's response was something along the lines of... I paid MSRP. I think the guy ended up getting in his truck and saying a few choice words to Colt!
While Colt was at the dealership, I stayed at the house with Kinley while she napped. When she woke up, we took her car outside and let her drive it down the street.
