Colt worked from 2-11pm the night before Father's Day. On Father's Day, he had to go in at 9 that night until 7 the next morning, He got to spend most of the day with us with the exception of taking a nap before going to work.
Last year, Colt's first Father's Day, we had just gotten home from our hospital stay with Kinley and she was just a few days old. This year, Kinley signed his card with her fingerprint and also decorated another card with her fingerprints too!
She gave them to him when he got up on Father's Day...
and told him that he was the #1 dad!
She kinda has him wrapped around her finger.
"Of course I'll let you read to me on Father's Day."
We were in another set of pajamas so I guess we were already bathed and getting ready for bed before Colt left for work.
Even though we didn't get to be with them, we are also always thankful for the other dad's in our lives, my dad, David and Colt's grandpas.
